My name is Cam and I have over 18+ years experience in the cycling industry as competitor, guide, instructor, teacher and mechanic. Bicycles were introduced to me at a very young age with BMX racing before my passion evolved and moved onto the mountain bike and road scene in my early 20s. After tinkering with my own race bikes as well as family and friends’ bicycles for many years, I began to develop my product knowledge and mechanical skills through various courses and lots of research and reading mainly due to my simple love of everything with two wheels. In turn, this eventually led to opening QBS in late 2019 as a small hobby business. Little did I know at the time it would evolve into a well-known small business that has supported many cyclists of all disciplines around the Greater Geelong during a time when the cycling industry has and continues to boom. I'm only a small guy in a big pond when it comes to industry, but I separate myself from the bigger companies by offering a premium service at competitive price with a fast turnaround to get you back on the road or trail. I specialise in service, repairs, cleaning, upgrades and builds in mountain biking, road, electric, BMX and hybrids to name a few. I'm up to date and familiar with all the main brands such as Shimano, Sram, Rockshox and Fox from the entry level all the way up to the high-end wireless digital componentry, but if there's something unique I'm happy to do the research to help you out.
